A Quest for Notion of Existence
This article serves as a prologue to the preceding work, A Framework for Describing Existence.
This article introduces Araqode Cognition, an ontological framework conceived for the structured investigation of existence. Driven by the inherent imperative of sentient entities to comprehend the fundamental nature of reality, this work proposes a systematic approach rooted in principles observed within cognitive processes.
The architecture of Araqode Cognition is predicted upon a hierarchical organization comprising Fundamentals, serving as the axiomatic and definitional bedrock; Theorems, constituting logically derived propositions based upon the foundational principles; and Chapters, representing thematic groupings of related theorems.
At its core, Araqode Cognition posits a set of Fundamentals essential for its descriptive capacity. The Concept is defined as primary ontological entity, characterized by intrinsic Qualities, notably Continuity, which spans the discrete-continuous spectrum. Data represents the primordial, unstructured elements of existence. Scope, originating from an initial Intuition, functions as a selective perspective, delineating relevance. Observance, enacted through a conceptual Sensor, denotes the process of structuring Data into Information. Inference, the domain of the Inference Engine, signifies the derivation of novel understanding from structured information.
A critical tenant of Araqode Cognition is its reflexive self-awareness. The framework, as a construct for understanding existence, is itself acknowledged as a product of a specific foundational intuition and a defined set of guiding principles. Consequently, Araqode Cognition represents a particular scope or perspective on existence. While aspiring to comprehensive elucidation, its insights are inherently perspectival, offering a structured interpretation rather an exhaustive representation. The very formulation of this framework constitutes an Action predicted upon a prior Inference concerning the nature of epistemic acquisition.
Subsequent chapters will elaborate upon these fundamental constructs, rigorously develop derived theorems, and organize these insights within thematic doctrines. This endeavor represents a structured inquiry into the notion of existence through the lens of formalized cognition. The reader is invited to engage in this systematic exploration.
