Reflect: The Unseen Progress
The second day of reflection, May 20, 2025, concludes at 11:15 PM. The day was marked by a significant number of pending tasks and various distractions. Despite these challenges, progress was made on household responsibilities and essential shopping. Heavy rainfall led to a decision to work remotely today. Additionally, there are a few personal developments that I'm not ready to disclose at this time.
A notable positive development was identifying a potential professional connection on LinkedIn. I am awaiting their acceptance of my connection request.
The Unseen Progress
The clock ticks past eleven, a Wednesday's early start,
May twentieth now concludes, a day held in my heart.
A day of pending tasks, a mountain yet to climb,
Distractions, like persistent gnats, consumed so much of time.
Yet household chores were tackled, the shopping cart now bare,
Small victories in the rain, a respite from life's care.
For heavy drops had fallen, a steady, drumming sound,
Keeping me safely tethered, to work on hallowed ground.
And secrets softly bloom, within this private space,
Developments unspoken, held in a gentle embrace.
But one bright spark emerged, a beacon in the grey,
A LinkedIn connection sent, at the closing of the day.
A bridge to future prospects, a hope I hold so dear,
Awaiting an acceptance, to banish doubt and fear.
So let the rain still patter, and tasks await the morn,
This day of quiet progress, a new seed has been born.
